Nick and Roscoe in the mountains

Meet the crew behind Peak Bound Rentals

We're a Denver-based couple who love long weekends on forest roads, sunrise trailheads, pow days, and quiet camp coffee before the world wakes up. The Little Guy Max is our idea of the perfect tiny mountain cabin on wheels.

Nick with Roscoe in the mountains

Seven-plus years of chasing Colorado corners

High alpine passes, mellow lakeside spots, hidden hot springs, and everything in between.

We started out like most people: car camping in random pull-offs, cramming gear into the backseat, and waking up stiff but stoked. Eventually we wanted something still simple and towable, but way more comfortable when the weather turns or you're stringing multiple days together.

Enter the Little Guy Max. It hits the sweet spot between cozy and capable — real bed, real heat, real kitchen — but still small enough to slip into national forest sites, trailhead pullouts, and smaller campgrounds that big rigs can't touch.

  • Based in Denver with easy Front Range pickup
  • Big fans of hiking, camping, snowboarding, and hot springs
  • Happy to share route ideas, camp spots, and "things we wish we knew" tips
  • Systems dialed so setup and pack-down are fast and stress-free

We've taken this trailer on everything from simple state park weekends to bigger mountain loops. If you're not sure where to go or how to plan things, we're happy to help.

Roscoe & Noah

Our adventure buddies who have logged more trail miles than we care to count.

🐾 Four-legged co-pilots welcome

Roscoe is a 4-year-old Aussie with endless zoomies, and Noah is our 14-year-old golden doodle who still insists on leading the charge on the trail. Dogs are a huge part of our adventures — which is exactly why we keep the pet policy simple: just a $100 refundable deposit, no nightly pet fee, no drama. If your pup is chill in a camper, they're welcome.

Built for people like us

We set this trailer up the way we'd want it for our own trips — because that's exactly what we do with it.

🥾
Hiking

Trailhead sleepovers, dawn starts, summit days. The Little Guy Max parks close to the trailhead so you're first on trail.

🏔️
Snowboarding

Ski-lot camping, slope access, no hotel bills. Heat and A/C make shoulder-season and winter trips actually comfortable.

♨️
Hot springs

Colorado's best hot springs are a drive away. Camp nearby, soak, sleep in a real bed, repeat.

🌲
Dispersed camping

Small enough for forest service roads and off-the-grid spots that big rigs can't reach. Solar keeps you powered up.
